Planning Your Trip
Planning the world's largest and most popular resorts trip at Walt Disney World
is what Disney Discounts is all about! Planning your trip is the most important
key to learning about the resorts, travel expense, theme parks, cost of Disney
Tickets and many more
experiences.
Here are a few ideas for planning your
trip.
OnlyTourist.com
- (Travel Directory ) Provides
visitors with quality travel resources and fun in national favorite
destinations. Our travel web directory includes travel guide, online
booking, passport and visa services vacation planning and more.
When should I go?
If your planning a trip to save time and money you will want to go at off
seasons when your rates are the lowest. Check out our reservations page on
seasonal dates and rates to give you a better view on cost. It also depends on
what you would like to see and do? We have a monthly event calendar that gives
you ideas of experiences that you may want to see. Also remember that the best
time to go is when the crowds are low. Our best time is Jan and May. May would
be a hard season to go if you have children that are in school.
Where should I stay?
Where to stay is one of my hardest things to decide.. You
have 25 resort hotels to choose from ranging from all budgets and
different styles to make your Disney trip magical. See our resorts page
for ideas. Staying at your value resorts are your cheapest and keep in
mind there are many off site resorts. One is Orlando
Vacation! They have Incredible savings on Orlando and Disney World since 1991.Affordable
Travel of Orlando has been helping clients plan their vacations for over
thirty (30) years.
We are a member of the Better Business Bureau in Orlando, and we have an
outstanding relationship with all the major theme parks in Orlando. Orlando
Vacation is the leading hotel & vacation
home consolidator in Orlando, Florida. At Affordable Travel of
Orlando, they understand that a vacation
to Disney World on a budget can be difficult! Disney Discounts
recommend Orlando Vacation for your planning and stress-free home
consolidator. Their nightly rates are unmatched in the industry!

Which tickets should I buy?
There are many
Disney
ticket options for you to choose from. There are one day/one park
admission, Hopper passes/ allowing you to hop from park to park and premium
annual passes. Pending on your length of stay will depend on which Disney
ticket value
is the best for you. Will you be returning more than one time a year? Then a
annual pass may be your best offer. If just traveling a short time and staying
for just a few days you may want to consider a hopper pass which allows you to
return to all four theme parks as many times as you want in one day.
How much will it cost?
We all know that your vacation to Walt Disney World will be costly but there are
many ways to minimize the cost of your travel if your willing to do your
research. Your most expensive cost will be the transportation ( airlines have
many discounts if your willing to keep an eye on the sales)
Disney tickets, Resort
lodging ( Keep an eye on the best value season and there are ways to check for
codes for discounts if they apply to you) and food. Eating before you go to the
park can save money and taking fluids into the parks with you help.
Airlines or vehicle?
Personally I prefer flying. It saves on maintenance on your vehicle and gas
prices have been so expensive. But it also depends on where you live, the ages
of your children or if your a senior. When flying to Disney World there are
special pros such as the magic express that sets you up with the transportation
to and from Disney resorts. They even take your luggage for you hassle free!
When arriving to your resort you can come and go and your luggage is brought to
your resort/room for you.
Special needs?
The Cast Members at Walt Disney World know that travelers may have special needs
and they do their best to be accommodating. Knowing the ins and outs of how the
system works ahead of time they will make your vacation more relaxing and
pleasurable. This section addresses those with special physical requirements.
When making your reservations advise the cast members of your special needs so
they can accommodate you whether it be hearing impaired, visually impaired,
mobility disabilities ect.
What
about my pet?
Walt
Disney World has Kennels available for guests that are traveling with
their family pet. Walt Disney World is a member of the "American
Boarding Kennel Association".
